Cyberpunk 2077 even all this time after release, is still marred by technical issues. That said, the game does offer players plenty to explore and uncover throughout Night City. While adventuring around this dystopian cyberpunk concrete jungle, V is going to need some wheels.

And, one of the more emotional and visually distinct options has to be Jackie’s motorcycle that players can obtain in Cyberpunk 2077.
Updated January 3rd, 2022 by Jacob Buchalter: With so many people returning to Cyberpunk 2077 after the success of Edgerunners, the Netflix animated series set in the same city, there are a lot of new players experiencing Jackie’s death for the first time (maybe even in slow-mo if they have a Sandevistan).
While it’s a shame that the game still skips past all of the moments of Jackie and V becoming friends through multiple jobs all ‘montage’ style, Jackie is still so charismatic that players just automatically resonate with him. And, after his passing, there are a lot of people who end up wanting to use his bike as a way of remembering him, so here’s exactly how to go about getting it.
Both Methods Of Obtaining Jackie’s ARCH Motorcycle
Now there are two ways to get this motorcycle, and both of them are dependent on the choice V makes about where to send Jackie’s body. If they sent it to his family or left it in the car, then shortly after Cyberpunk 2077’s intro heist concludes, during which V’s best friend Jackie Welles dies (sound familiar to Edgerunners maybe?), players will receive a message from Mama Welles. Mama Welles is Jackie’s mother, and she’s requesting that V give her a call. Call her, and she informs the player that she’ll be hosting an ofrenda for Jackie, which the player can attend by visiting El Coyote Cojo, the family’s bar.
Go there and speak to Mama Welles. Players need to tell her that they want to take part in the event when prompted. Mama Welles will give them the key to Jackie’s garage, which is just outside El Coyote Cojo. There, players can have a heart-to-heart conversation with Jackie’s girlfriend, Misty, and search for an offering (it’s a bit of an odd side quest), which they’ll later present at Jackie’s ofrenda. Players will also be given the opportunity to say a few words about Jackie during the ceremony.
Once that’s complete, talk to Mama Welles again. During the conversation, she’ll offer V the keys to Jackie’s motorcycle, a unique vehicle with a sharp design. Accept the keys, and players will have the motorcycle at their disposal for the rest of the game.
On the other hand, if V sends Jackie’s body to Viktor Vektor, they’ll have to wait until after the ‘Heroes’ quest described above. After this quest, Mama Welles will message V that she found something of Jackie’s and that it’s waiting for V in front of their apartment. Go home, and the player should find a small box near the entrance of the apartment that has the keys inside.
How To Get Jackie’s ‘Tuned’ ARCH Motorcycle
Now, there’s actually a way to get a modified version of this motorcycle as well, but it has some pretty specific requirements. First, players will need to have picked the ‘Nomad’ lifepath for their character. Then, during ‘The Pickup’ while V meets with Jackie outside the All Food Plant, there should be a Nomad-specific dialogue option during their conversation. Pick this option, and another option that requires at least 6 points in Technical Ability appears, suggesting that Jackie should make some changes to his bike.
If both of these dialogue choices are selected, then the next time they’ll see Jackie’s bike, it will have four tailpipes instead of two. That said, this is the only difference between the two versions of this bike, as every other stat is exactly the same as the default variation.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
