Outer Wilds is an open world action-adventure game that sees you take on the role of a new recruit for Outer Wilds Ventures, searching space for answers to questions you have about the constantly evolving and mysterious solar system. You’ll explore different planets with a range of hostile environments as you try to uncover the reason why the entire solar system is trapped in an endless 22-minute time loop.

There are also side quests to complete as well as 17 achievements in the base game, and 14 more in the DLC.
How Long Does It Take To 100 Percent Outer Wilds?
As you explore, you’ll discover side quests in many different locations. The Groundbreaker ship has a number, as does Captain Hawthorne’s ship, Unreliable. You can also find them on Monarch and Terra-2. Completing all the side quests and the main narrative is said to take about 21.5 hours. If you also want to complete all 17 base game achievements, you can expect this completionist run to take around 26 hours.
Outer Wilds also has a DLC pack, Echoes of the Eye. This adds more to the main story, as well as offering extra side quests and achievements.
How Long Does It Take To Complete Echoes Of The Eye?
Echoes Of The Eye is the second expansion and offers an experience with more focus on the main storyline. It will take around 10.5 hours to explore the main narrative here. Adding in the side quests brings this up to 14 hours.
